FAQ's

Mount Lobuche is in the vicinity of Khumbu Glacier and Lobuche Village. The peak has two summits. They are Lobuche East and Lobuche West. The altitude of Lobuche East is 6119 m and the altitude of Lobuche West is 6145 m from the sea level. Lobuche Peak Climbing is done in the East Peak. However, the Lobuche West Peak requires an expedition permit. The major reason behind this is the technicality and difficulty in the west peak of Lobuche. If you are thinking of reaching the top of the West Peak after East Peak climbing, it is impossible. The deep notch ridge and a steep drop as well as the huge distance between the two peaks make it harder. It is impossible. Moreover, the permit doesn’t allow us to do so as well.

The months of spring season and autumn season are best for climbing. In comparison to the autumn window, the spring window is famous. During this time of the year, there is less rainfall, and the chances of snowfall are very less. Lots of people across the globe prefer to do this adventure at this time of the year. Therefore, plan your peak climbing for the spring season. However, you may book the climbing packages for the autumn season as well.
