Itinerary

Arrive in Kathmandu, the bustling capital city of Nepal. Transfer to your hotel and rest. In the evening, meet your trekking guide for a briefing and prepare for your adventure in the Everest region

Take an early morning flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Begin your trek with a gentle descent through picturesque Sherpa villages and along the Dudh Koshi River to reach Phakding. Enjoy the stunning landscapes and the first glimpse of the Himalayas.

Follow the trail along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. The trail ascends steeply through forests of pine and rhododendron to reach Namche Bazaar, the main trading hub of the Khumbu region. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and the spectacular mountain views.

Spend the day acclimatizing to the higher altitude. Explore Namche Bazaar, visit the local markets, and take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel for stunning views of Everest and other Himalayan peaks. You can also visit the Sherpa Museum to learn about the local culture and mountaineering history.

Ascend through beautiful rhododendron and birch forests, passing through the villages of Kyangjuma and Mong La. Continue climbing to Dole, a small settlement with stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

Continue ascending through alpine landscapes, with views of Cho Oyu, Kantega, and Thamserku. Pass through small settlements and yak pastures to reach Machhermo, a scenic village in the Gokyo Valley.

Trek along the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal, and pass by a series of turquoise lakes. Arrive in Gokyo, a beautiful settlement on the shores of the third Gokyo Lake, with stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

Spend the day acclimatizing and exploring the area. Hike to the summit of Gokyo Ri for breathtaking panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Enjoy the stunning scenery and the pristine lakes of Gokyo.

Descend back to Dole, retracing your steps through the beautiful Gokyo Valley. Enjoy the alpine landscapes and the views of the surrounding peaks.

Thangna is a base camp of Cho-la pass. All the way crossing the rocky glacier with ups and downs strange trail leads you through the amazing rocky valley toward Thangna. The valley itself surrounding by high snow-capped mountain just above your head. So that a day completely different during the trip. Night stay in Thangna.

Continue descending through the picturesque landscapes of the Khumbu region. Arrive back in Namche Bazaar and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this bustling Sherpa town

Lobuche is just before final stop Gorak-Shep, joining junction to classic Everest Base Camp trekking trail and crowds of trekkers meet at Lobuche. It is a foothill of Lobuche peak and mount Nuptse. Night stay at Lobuche.

Trek back to Lukla, passing through charming villages and crossing suspension bridges. Celebrate the completion of your trek with your fellow trekkers in Lukla.

Take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel and rest, or explore more of Kathmandu’s cultural attractions. Reflect on your trekking experience and enjoy the comforts of the city.

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Bid farewell to Nepal, taking with you unforgettable memories of the Gokyo Lake Trek and the majestic Himalayas.
