Itinerary

Arrive in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital city of Nepal. Transfer to your hotel and rest. In the evening, meet your trekking guide for a briefing and prepare for your adventure to the Langtang Valley.

Embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the starting point of the Langtang Valley trek. The drive takes you through picturesque landscapes, terraced fields, and charming villages. Arrive in Syabrubesi and prepare for the trek.

Begin your trek from Syabrubesi, following the trail along the Langtang Khola (river). The path winds through lush forests of oak, rhododendron, and bamboo, with occasional glimpses of Langtang Lirung. Arrive at Lama Hotel, a small settlement nestled in the forest.

Continue trekking through dense forests, crossing streams and passing by waterfalls. The trail gradually ascends, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Arrive at Langtang Village, a traditional Tamang village that was heavily affected by the 2015 earthquake but has since been rebuilt.

Trek through yak pastures and alpine meadows, following the trail along the Langtang River. As you ascend, the landscape becomes more rugged and barren. Arrive at Kyanjin Gompa, a beautiful monastery surrounded by stunning mountain views. Explore the area and visit the local cheese factory.

Spend the day acclimatizing to the higher altitude. You can take a hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,773 meters / 15,656 feet) or Tserko Ri (4,984 meters / 16,349 feet) for panoramic views of the Langtang range, glaciers, and surrounding peaks. Explore the monastery and enjoy the serene environment.

Retrace your steps, descending through the Langtang Valley. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you pass through alpine meadows and dense forests. Arrive back at Lama Hotel and rest for the night.

Continue descending through the beautiful Langtang Valley, following the trail back to Syabrubesi. Enjoy the last day of trekking through lush forests and charming villages. Arrive in Syabrubesi and prepare for the drive back to Kathmandu.

Embark on a scenic drive from Syabrubesi back to Kathmandu. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you descend from the mountains to the bustling city. Transfer to your hotel and rest, or explore more of Kathmandu’s cultural attractions.

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Bid farewell to Nepal, taking with you unforgettable memories of the Langtang Valley Trek and the majestic Himalayas.
