Itinerary
Arrive in Kathmandu, the bustling capital city of Nepal. Transfer to your hotel and rest. In the evening, meet your trekking guide for a briefing and prepare for your adventure in the Everest region.
Take an early morning flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Begin your trek with a gentle descent through picturesque Sherpa villages and along the Dudh Koshi River to reach Phakding. Enjoy the stunning landscapes and the first glimpse of the Himalayas.
Follow the trail along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. The trail ascends steeply through forests of pine and rhododendron to reach Namche Bazaar, the main trading hub of the Khumbu region. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and the spectacular mountain views.
Spend the day acclimatizing to the higher altitude. Explore Namche Bazaar, visit the local markets, and take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel for stunning views of Everest and other Himalayan peaks. You can also visit the Sherpa Museum to learn about the local culture and mountaineering history.
Trek through beautiful rhododendron forests and enjoy panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Arrive at Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. After visiting the monastery, retrace your steps back to Namche Bazaar.
