Itinerary

Arrive in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital city of Nepal. Transfer to your hotel and rest. In the evening, meet your trekking guide for a briefing and prepare for your adventure trek to Everest Base Camp via Phaplu.

Take an early morning flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Begin your trek with a gentle descent through picturesque Sherpa villages and along the Dudh Koshi River to reach Phakding. Enjoy the stunning landscapes and the first glimpse of the Himalayas.

Follow the trail along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. The trail ascends steeply through forests of pine and rhododendron to reach Namche Bazaar, the main trading hub of the Khumbu region. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and the spectacular mountain views.

Spend the day acclimatizing to the higher altitude. Explore Namche Bazaar, visit the local markets, and take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel for stunning views of Everest and other Himalayan peaks. You can also visit the Sherpa Museum to learn about the local culture and mountaineering history.

Trek through beautiful rhododendron forests and enjoy panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Arrive at Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. Visit the monastery and soak in the serene surroundings.

Continue trekking through alpine landscapes, passing through the villages of Pangboche and Somare. Ascend gradually to Dingboche, a picturesque village with stunning views of Ama Dablam and other surrounding peaks.

Spend the day acclimatizing to the higher altitude. Take a hike to Nagarjun Hill (5,100 meters / 16,732 feet) for panoramic views of the Himalayas, or explore the village and its surrounding fields. Rest and prepare for the higher altitudes ahead.

Trek through a rugged landscape, passing by the memorials at Thukla Pass, dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. Continue ascending to Lobuche, a small settlement nestled between towering peaks.

Trek to Gorak Shep, the last stop before Everest Base Camp. After a brief rest, continue trekking to Everest Base Camp, the ultimate destination for trekkers. Enjoy the exhilarating experience of standing at the base of the world’s highest peak. Return to Gorak Shep for the night.

Hike to Kala Patthar early in the morning for breathtaking panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and other peaks. Descend back to Gorak Shep and continue trekking to Pheriche, a small village located in a valley surrounded by mountains.

Descend through alpine landscapes and lush forests, retracing your steps back to Namche Bazaar. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and the comforts of this bustling Sherpa town.

Continue descending through the beautiful landscapes of the Everest region. Cross suspension bridges and pass through charming villages, enjoying the last day of trekking before reaching Lukla. Celebrate the completion of your trek with your fellow trekkers.

Take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel and rest, or explore more of Kathmandu’s cultural attractions. Reflect on your trekking experience and enjoy the comforts of the city.

Embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Phaplu, a small town with an airstrip. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel through the hills and valleys of the Solu region.

Begin your trek from Phaplu, ascending through lush forests and charming villages to reach Taksindu. Visit the Taksindu Monastery and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Continue trekking through the picturesque Solu region, passing through forests, meadows, and traditional villages. Arrive in Junbesi, a beautiful Sherpa village with monasteries and traditional houses.

 

Ascend through beautiful landscapes, gradually climbing to Pikey Peak Base Camp. The trail offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan range, including Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu.

Start early to trek to the summit of Pikey Peak, where you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the Everest region and other towering peaks. After soaking in the breathtaking views, descend to Jhapre, a picturesque village with stunning views of Everest and other surrounding mountains.

Continue your descent through lush rhododendron forests and charming villages, arriving in Dhap. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and the warm hospitality of the local people.

 

Embark on a scenic drive from Dhap back to Kathmandu. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you descend from the mountains to the bustling city. Transfer to your hotel and rest, or explore more of Kathmandu’s cultural attractions.

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Bid farewell to Nepal, taking with you unforgettable memories of the Phaplu via Everest Base Camp Trek and the majestic Himalayas.
